Hua Hin has a number of churches and worship communities serving the expat population, primarily Christian denominations conducting services in English. The town also has Buddhist temples (wats), mosques, and other places of worship serving Thailand’s diverse religious communities.

Christian Services

Several churches in and around Hua Hin offer English-language services on Sundays. Denominations represented include Catholic, Anglican/Episcopal, interdenominational evangelical, and others. Service times and locations, some congregations meet in venues rather than dedicated church buildings, are best confirmed directly with each community as these can change.

Buddhist Temples

Thailand is predominantly Theravada Buddhist and Hua Hin has several beautiful local wats (temples). Visitors are welcome at most temples; appropriate dress (covering shoulders and knees) is required. Participating in or observing Buddhist ceremonies is a meaningful way to connect with Thai culture.

Community Through Faith

For many expats, particularly those who are retired or who have recently relocated, faith communities provide important social connection alongside spiritual life.
