These Owner Claim Terms govern the process of claiming a business listing on HuaHinExpats.Co. By submitting a claim request, you agree to these terms.
1. What a Claim Is
If your business is listed in the HuaHinExpats.Co directory. You can submit a claim request to take ownership of that listing. Claiming your listing allows you to:
- Update and correct your business information
- Upload photos to your listing gallery
- Respond to user reviews
- Upgrade to a premium listing tier
2. Verification Process
We verify claims before approving them. The verification process may include:
- Matching the email address or phone number you provide with the business’s publicly listed contact details
- Sending a verification email or code to the business’s registered email address
- Requesting documentary evidence of your role or ownership (e.g. business registration, utility bill, or similar)
We aim to process claim requests within 5 business days. We reserve the right to approve or reject any claim at our discretion.
3. Your Responsibilities as a Listing Owner
Once a claim is approved. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your information accurate update hours, contact details, and services when they change
- Accurate representation do not exaggerate, misrepresent, or fabricate information about your business
- Appropriate image use only upload images you own or have rights to use
- Professional conduct respond to reviews professionally and factually; do not use your owner account to submit fake reviews or to harass reviewers
4. No Impersonation
You must not claim a listing for a business you do not own, manage, or have explicit authorisation to represent. Impersonating a business owner is a serious violation of these terms and may constitute fraud under applicable law.
If you believe someone has fraudulently claimed your business listing, contact us immediately at hello@huahinexpats.co.
5. Account Misuse
Your owner account may be suspended or terminated if you:
- Provide false information during the claim process
- Submit fake or incentivised reviews for your own or other businesses
- Use the account to harass users, reviewers, or our team
- Attempt to manipulate search placement through illegitimate means
- Violate any part of our Business Listing Terms or Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to revoke a claim and return a listing to unclaimed status at any time, without notice, in cases of suspected misuse.
6. Transfer of Ownership
If a business changes ownership. The new owner must submit a fresh claim request. Previous owner credentials cannot be transferred. Contact us to initiate an ownership transfer.
7. Termination
You may request the removal of your ownership claim at any time by contacting us. The listing will remain in the directory as an unclaimed listing unless you also request its full removal.
